Bob
Pilbeam, is well known throughout the coach tourism industry
- and London in particular
Previously
as
‘Sergeant Bob’ in charge of the Coach Advisory
Service for the Metropolitan Police, he held the position
with unparalleled enthusiasm, making operators from both
the UK and abroad feel welcome in London and making their
lives easier.
He retired from the Police in 1996, joining CPT as a consultant.
He
has been described as being "active and sympathetic
to the coach tourism industry.
Whether
as a guide, informant on coach parking, adviser on how to
get to or from a venue, or a liaiser with local authorities,
Bob can be relied upon to approach the subject with enthusiasm
and good humour.
