Walking tour of Bath

While in Bath take a walking tour with Bob via the famous Georgian Crescent, where you will hear how John Wood the father and John Wood the son started the building of Bath as we know it today and be told of some of the famous people that have lived here. | |
We continue our journey by going to The Circus, where the legendary story of Prince Bladud and the pigs will be related and then via The Assembly Rooms to hear about life in the 17 - 1800s as ordered by Beau Nash. |

As we continue via the back street of beautiful bath, we pass 1738 Royal Mineral Water Hospital before arriving at "The Lantern of the West" Bath Abbey (4th picture) where the first King of all England was crowned.

All this is before we visit the Roman Baths and hear about the only hot water spring in England and discover the marvels of Roman Engineering and Georgian architecture. If this is not enough you can then walk a short distance to the River Avon and see Poultney Bridge with shops all the way across it. |
